Emery challenges Ramsey to end Arsenal career in style

Watford defender Jose Holebas will miss Monday's Premier League clash with Arsenal after failing to recover from a hamstring injury, manager Javi Gracia has said. The Spaniard was urged on by friend and fellow manager Javi Gracia to join the Premier League bandwagon.

As quoted by the Daily Express, Emery explained: "So when the possibility opened up to sign here, the first coach, the first person in the football world I called was him (Gracia)". Ramsey has signed a pre-contract agreement which will see him join Juventus in the summer but before then the Wales global is determined to make a major impact for Arsenal, the club that he has represented for the past eleven years.

"I also met with (Manchester City midfielder) David Silva in Valencia previous year and he said to me, "Coach, if you can, come to England, it is the best football and the best atmosphere for you also".

"For example we had dinner, their coaches and our coaches, one day in St Albans in September", Emery said.

"It was a good conversation about football because Javi Gracia is also a football man".

Sixth-place Arsenal will climb back into the top four if they overcome the Hornets and Chelsea fail to pick up any points against Liverpool on Sunday, and Emery knows his side will have to be at their best against the FA Cup finalists.

The north London side are also two points ahead of Manchester United with five games left to play this season.

Gracia gave his players three days off following their semi-final exertions but he has no intention of rotating his squad for Premier League duty with seventh spot still up for grabs.

"They are a very organised team, with a big capacity offensively because they create a good movement and a good idea, a good style to take that".

"I continued speaking with him about doing something very important in the last matches here in two competitions that are very important for us".
