A federal judge in NY has arranged Tesla CEO Elon Musk and USA securities authorities to fulfill at least an hour to attempt to settle a dispute over Musk's tweets. Last August, that conversation, delivered the stock of the company on a wild ride.

The SEC alleges that Musk blatantly violated the settlement with a February 19 tweet about Tesla vehicle production that wasn't approved by the company's "disclosure counsel". That claim wasn't true, and sent Tesla's stock soaring initially. Musk's lawyers say he didn't violate the settlement.

Authorities concluded he hadn't lined up the sum to pull off the deal, although musk backed the concept of taking the company private. The agency asserts that Musk hasn't sought the approval of the lawyer for one tweet.

If Musk plans to attend the hearing loss, it's uncertain.

"Hueston said additional restricting Musk's ability to convey about his organization and imposing penalties would" freeze his talent" to operate as a successful entrepreneur. "He said that his client" really does what he is told".

Meanwhile, Tesla's shares fell 8 percent Thursday after the company stated it churns out 77,100 vehicles at the first quarter, well below the speed it must maintain to fulfill the assurance to manufacture 500,000 automobiles yearly of Musk.

Tesla is also upgrading the FSD computer in all of its cars soon, and will even retrofit cars that have FSD with the new computer should the owner requests it. Electrek notes, however, that it's unclear if all cars are getting the new computer or not.

At Wednesday's close, Tesla shares were down 12.3% so far this year. Tesla agreed to pay a $20 million fine and Mr Musk stepped down as Tesla Chairman for at least three years.

Musk's unpredictable behaviour has led some to wonder whether he ought to stay CEO of Tesla, but others say he's precious and the visionary behind the company to lose.

Both the Panasonic and the next-12-months production tweets are noteworthy in light of the settlement that sprang from Musk tweeting in August of past year about trying to take Tesla private.
