As one of Aaron Rodgers favorite targets, Cobb averaged 875 yards and 7.5 touchdowns a season from 2012-15, earning a four-year, $40 million ($17 guaranteed) contract to remain in Wisconsin for the remainder of his quarterback's prime.

Cobb was drafted by the Packers in the second round of the 2011 NFL Draft. He should fit in as Dallas' slot receiver, replacing Cole Beasley.

On Tuesday, Randall Cobb officially ended his 8-year career with the Green Bay Packers ranked sixth in team history with 470 receptions & 11th in both receiving yards (5,524) & TDs (41) after he agreed to sign with the Dallas Cowboys.

Cobb has shown that he can also play on the outside and as a running back in certain packages.

Cobb appeared to acknowledge the move on Twitter.

Cobb spent the first eight years of his National Football League career with the Green Bay Packers, though he was limited to nine games last season because of a hamstring injury and a concussion.

Cobb missed seven games in 2018 with hamstring and concussion issues.

Cobb had been mentioned as a potential target for the receiver-needy Patriots, who have added just two low-level wideouts (Bruce Ellington and Maurice Harris) since National Football League free agency began last week.

Having said that, I'm so happy that Cobb isn't on the Packers anymore. "So, we just had a moment together". He's worn out the Cowboys previously, including compiling eight catches for 116 yards and seven catches for 62 yards in Packers' postseason wins over Dallas in 2014 and 2016.
