Louis Tomlinson's Sister Felicite, 18, Dies Suddenly at Her London Apartment

Felicite reportedly collapsed in her fourth-floor apartment on Wednesday, March 13. Félicité had a large following of her own on Instagram, where she occasionally shared photos of herself with Louis and their other siblings.

This news comes just a few years after the tragic passing of their mother, Johannah Deakin, who had leukemia. She was 43. See some of the messages of condolence being sent to Tomlinson below.

How did Louis Tomlinson's sister Felicite Tomlinson die? "Love to you brother I'm so sorry and my prayers are with you".

It's the second tragedy to hit the Tomlinson family in recent years.

Police officers are investigating the teenager's death, which they are now treating as "unexplained".

Despite attempts to resuscitate Tomlinson, she was pronounced dead on the scene, TMZ said. A person who was with her at the time called 999 (the United Kingdom version of 911), and emergency responders quickly arrived on the scene.

More answers will come after a full post-mortem examination and toxicology tests are carried out.

The aspiring fashion designer and social media influencer is thought to have suffered a heart attack, though this is yet to be confirmed.

He has canceled his scheduled appearance on UK TV for the yearly charity event Comic Relief.

He previously released song Just Hold On - his debut solo single - in her honour of his mum and performed it on The X Factor just days later.

At the time he described the performance as "harder than I ever imagined".
