Frank Lampard urges Callum Hudson-Odoi to stay at Chelsea

Olivier Giroud had a hat trick as Chelsea demolished Dynamo Kiev 5-0 in their Europa League round-of-16 second leg to win the tie 8-0 on aggregate.

Sarri was equally delighted with the performance of his side, who did not let their 3-0 lead coming into the match deter them from equalling their biggest European away win since the 1970s, scoring five on the night in Ukraine without reply. "But I think [it was] a wonderful performance for 90 minutes". "It's really very unsafe for injuries", Sarri told reporters.

"I prefer to find them in the final", Chelsea's head coach said when informed that Napoli had also qualified. He can become one of the best in Europe'. Physically and tactically he is improving.

Giroud's flawless hat-trick means he is the Europa League's top scorer this season with nine goals and Sarri was delighted with his display.

Sarri heavily rotated for the match in Kiev, handing rare starts to Ruben Loftus-Cheek in central midfield and Hudson-Odoi on the right wing, and both Chelsea academy products looked sharp at the Olympic Stadium as their team ran riot.

"Recently, every time he has been on the pitch, he has played really very well", he later told a media conference. "It means we are in the final, that would make me happy and Napoli are in the final and that would make me happy".

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has impressed in the Europa League this season, and has three goals and an assist in seven games.

The home side were offering very little going forward, and Chelsea soon found their second of the evening as Giroud produced a confident first-time finish from eight yards after getting on the end of Alonso's low cross.

'So, for me, it will be very hard to play against them in Naples'.
