Avengers: Endgame harks back to MCU's early days

All we know is that the remaining Avengers are mounting some kind of response, and they've got some new outfits to help them pull it off.

Fresh from her all-conquering solo adventure, Captain Marvel has joined Earth's Mightiest Heroes for the first full-length Avengers: Endgame trailer. The video features moments from the previous Iron Man movie, Captain America, Thor and Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

The Mark Ruffalo's Hulk origin meanwhile sadly is skipped over, as Bruce Banner looked a lot more like Edward Norton back in the day. The new trailer is an emotional watch as MCU takes us through how Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Thor and other surviving Avengers have come this far. I fought my way out of that cave, became Iron Man, realized I love you, ' modern-day Stark narrates his recorded message to Pepper Potts as he hopelessly drifts in space.

"I like this one", he says.

"We truly admire your anticipation for watching Captain Marvel in your nearest Cinepax cinemas".

Gadot, happy over another actress scoring a box-office smash with a superhero role, lauded Larson's outing as Captain Marvel in an online post, writing: "I'm so happy for you sister! congrats". Black and white footage from past Marvel films mixed with glimpses of the upcoming one are also included in the clip.

"I saw all these people die", he laments as the heartbreaking shots of their fellow Avengers being turned to dust via Thanos's Infinity War snappening are replayed.

We see Hawkeye and Black Widow with a variety of haircuts in the color shots, hinting at either a fashion crisis or that we'll be hoping to different points in the timeline. However, the superheroes are not going to take this defeat easily and construct an elaborate plan to defeat the Mad Titan. "Someday. but not us", he tells her.
