In the meantime, Huawei's VP of International Product Advertising and marketing Clement Wong told Android Central that the periscope digital camera is certainly included within the P30 Professional digital camera module, with out revealing what sort of zoom it'll ship. According to rumours, the third sensor will be used to achieve 10x optical zoom.

A couple of live images of the alleged Huawei P30 Pro showing the 10x zoom lens surfaced a couple of days back. But it looks like Huawei will have periscope cameras on phones before Oppo. That said, Wong suggested that the P30's night mode, developed in-house, would take a step beyond the "software-only" approach of rivals.

While Wong confirmed that the P30 will sport a periscope zoom lens, he didn't exactly go into the specifics of the zooming capabilities.

The Huawei P30 smartphone series has been making an appearance over the web ahead of its launch along with the rumored specifications.

While the teaser does not actually confirm any key feature of the upcoming P30 series, there are hints to improved cameras and more impressive audio quality.

Like the Huawei P20 and P20 Pro, the next-generation flagship appears to have the same gradient effect on the rear case and all-screen design with a notch to house the front-facing camera, speaker grill, and ambient light and proximity sensor. As reported 4PDA, the source of new leaks became Executive Director of Huawei Devices, Richard Yu, which clearly shows the unannounced smartphone.

Not much is known about the tech specs of the device but we do know that the device may also feature the Kirin 710, a 3240mAh battery capacity and a triple rear camera setup. The P30 Pro is tipped to arrive in three variants: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 8GB + 512GB.
