PSG still plan to attack Manchester United despite Neymar, Cavani absences

Ahead of Tuesday's crunch Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain, United fans on social media are now sharing a video of Solskjaer talking about Sir Alex Ferguson during his farewell speech at Old Trafford back in 2008.

'Well I don't think there's any surprise about Paul Pogba being a key player, he's an incredible player, ' said Tuchel.

The French midfielder has scored eight times and set up another five goals since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came in as United's interim manager in December, replacing Jose Mourinho.

The change in management has led to a stunning turnaround in the team's fortunes - United have triumphed in 10 of their 11 games under the Norwegian, with Burnley the only side to stop them winning in his reign so far. "I am a different player to Neymar, and we will certainly miss him".

He said: 'They have got some great players at Man United, especially in midfield, with Pogba and [Nemanja] Matic. Playing them now is one of the toughest challenge we can have.

"I think we started the year very well, not so well started in the Champions League but we put the situation right and we finished first of the group". Since the draw, things have changed completely.

Fred, meanwhile, has not played for United since their 2-0 win over Reading in the FA Cup on January 5 and didn't even make the squad for the victory against Fulham at the weekend. He has to be free to play his game, top play with confidence.

Tuchel refused to be drawn on what Solskjaer had done to achieve such impressive results but does expects United to be bold in their approach - just like their caretaker manager was during his playing days at the club. There will be moments when we'll defend because I expect a very attacking Manchester, very courageous, with many attacking players.

"There is an effect [from Solskjaer]", Tuchel said.

"We have a word in Germany: if you go to the doctor and he heals you, he's right - it doesn't matter how!" He was a super risky player and he is now winning games as manager. And, he needs to play with a good mindset, needs to be positive - it's part of his development.
