Meghan Markle's Father Shares Letter Allegedly From the Duchess

The British outlet also revealed Thomas' response, which touches on his heart attack (the reason he missed the wedding) and hints at a possible disagreement between him and Prince Harry. She's like, "Dad, I'm so heartbroken".

It was a romance straight out of Hollywood, and the wedding day was as picture flawless as imagined-from Markle's stunning Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy-designed dress to the spectacular floral displays and the adorable bridesmaids and pageboys, which of course included young British royals Princess Charlotte and Prince George.

"Daddy, it is with a heavy heart that I write this, not understanding why you have chosen to take this path, turning a blind eye to the pain you are causing", Meghan begins the five-page handwritten letter shared with The Mail.

Kensington Palace have yet to confirm whether the interview was conducted with Meghan's blessing or knowledge of the Duke and Duchess's staff. Ever the trailblazer, the now Duchess of Sussex ended up walking halfway down the aisle alone, and then when she reached the Quire of St George's Chapel, Prince Charles joined her and accompanied her for the remainder of her walk towards her waiting prince.

She also accused her father of not reaching out to her after the wedding, and not letting her know that he wasn't attending. Meghan Markle's friends, whose identities were not released, told the publication the duchess wrote her father a letter in the summer after her wedding and asked him to stop "victimizing" her in the media.

News of the duchess's reported letter was brought to light last week when five of her close friends revealed its existence to People.

It's pretty damn heartbreaking to read a letter from a woman begging her father to stop exploiting her for fame and money.

"You've told the press that you called me to say you weren't coming to the wedding - that didn't happen because you never called", she wrote.

"On a daily basis you fixated and clicked on the lies they were writing about me, especially those manufactured by your other daughter, who I barely know", Meghan wrote in the letter.

"Please allow us to live our lives in peace".

He said on the television show Good Morning America: "While the goal of Meghan's letter was very much to fix the relationship with her father, she knew in her heart of hearts that this was going to be released to the papers".

Thomas Markle published the five-page letter from the Duchess of Sussex at the weekend after close pals of Meghan gave interviews to a United States magazine. "I begged you to accept help-we sent someone to your home...and instead of speaking to me to accept this or any help, you stopped answering your phone and chose to only speak to tabloids".

"I would challenge her to take a lie detector test anywhere on the planet with investigators that are not paid by her to skew the results".
