Antonio Brown Found Guilty In Speeding Incident, Ordered To Pay Fine

A source close to Brown believes the wideout is exhausted of playing the scapegoat for the Steelers' problems and wants to show he can thrive in another offense.

Antonio Brown has not been traded nor has he been released.

"Thank you Steeler Nation for a big 9 years.time to move on and forward.#NewDemands", he wrote.

Brown, 30, is under contract until 2021 and if traded he will have a cap hit of over $15 million for his new team.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Brown has in fact requested a trade from the Steelers.

Brown's future with the franchise came into question during the final week of the regular season when the star wide receiver didn't show up to practice ahead of a must-win game for the Steelers.

Brown, a sixth-round pick in 2010, has become arguably the NFL's best wide receiver in Pittsburgh. After everything Carson Wentz just went through regarding reports of him being selfish, it would be interesting to see if the Eagles would be prepared to deal with the off and on-field drama Brown could bring when unhappy.

In nine seasons with the Steelers, Brown has 837 catches for 11,207 yards and 74 touchdowns. Last month, two lawsuits were filed against Brown after he allegedly threw furniture from his 14th-floor apartment. On Tuesday, he was found guilty of reckless driving over an incident from November and fined $400. The woman did not press charges and Brown was not arrested.
