Search underway after video shows man abducting woman in Miami

The incident occurred outside a tire store in the 2300 block of Northwest 36th Street.

You can see in the video the woman walks into the tire shop and is dragged out moments later.

Miami police released security footage showing the suspect with his arms around the woman's upper chest as he appeared to force her into a white sedan on Friday. Then it shows the woman being pulled out of the tire shop by a man and led to a white vehicle after it quickly pulled into the lot and stopped.

The video shows the man forcing the woman out of the building and into his vehicle.

'She told me, "Call 911, he's going to kill me",' said the anonymous witness to Miami 7 News.

'He was running over here. "He takes her from the restroom and hit her, I don't know, like 20 or 50 times and then he wanted her to drive the vehicle".

"He wanted her to drive the auto, so he put her in the driver's seat", said the witness.

"This is someone's daughter, this is someone's sister, someone's family member", said Miami Police Commander Freddie Cruz. "We don't know the whereabouts of this young lady".

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Miami Police Department at 305-603-6370 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. We need to apprehend this individual.
