Ariana Grande Not Attending Grammys After Disagreements With Producers

A source close to the situation stated that these preconditions weren't enforced on any of the other performers - like Cardi B, Shawn Mendes and Miley Cyrus.

Ariana Grande could very well win her first Grammy on Sunday... but she won't be there to collect it!

Singer, Ariana Grande will not be performing at the Grammy Awards after reportedly falling out with the show's producers.

After all parties later agreed to include the track off Grande's upcoming album "thank u, next" as part of a medley, talks broke down once again when producers stipulated that the second song in her performance be up to their choosing.

The 25-year-old, who has been nominated for Best Pop Vocal Performance ("God Is a Woman") and Best Pop Vocal Album (Sweetener), was due to perform at the February 10 ceremony in Los Angeles.

However, like Ariana, she turned it down.

Her 7 Rings song is the latest single from her new album Thank U, Next, which will be released on Friday, just two days before the Grammy's air from the Staples Center.

They wouldn't let her sing a song from her Melodrama album which was nominated for album of the year. Instead, producers reportedly offered the New Zealand singer a spot in a Tom Petty tribute, which she declined.

With this development, the Grammys find themselves not only without a twice-nominated artist whom they have been using to promote the show, but also without one of the most vital artists of the moment.
