Samsung Galaxy A8 (2018) running Android Pie spotted on Geekbench

The company's first 5G smartphone is rumoured to be a variant of the company flagship Galaxy S10 and will be announced in the first half of this year. Plus Samsung has already confirmed it would share more information about the foldable Galaxy X/F/Flex at the next unpacked. The series has been tipped to get the Infinity-O display and a lot is being speculated regarding the position of the punch hole camera. Samsung has also announced that the Galaxy Unpacked event for the launch of its Galaxy S10 series is scheduled for February 20.

Samsung has dropped prices on its Galaxy A7 (2018) and A9 (2018) models in India. After a teaser about Samsung and Google partnering together in developing of a foldable phone was released at the developer conference held on November 2018, rumors began spreading that Samsung is referring to the Samsung Galaxy S10. Galaxy M30 will launch later in February. This will entail a huge victory for consumers in the Indian market, and given Samsung's substantial global presence, the concept of delivering phones with the best price-to-performance ratios will eventually branch out into global markets.

At the event, Samsung is also likely to launch the Galaxy S10 5G version. We expect the company to reveal more about the device during its event on February 20. Samsung showed off a prototype/concept of the device late past year. The Galaxy S10 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor for the United States market or the Exynos 9820 processor for markets like India. It will include Samsung Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10 Lite (aka Galaxy S10 E). The Galaxy S packed a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, powerful GPU, 5-megapixel rear camera, etc. - all of which was cutting-edge technology then.
