Barcelona forward Munir El Haddadi joins Sevilla

Two transfer deals in as many hours for Sevilla, who earlier this evening announced the signing of Austrian centre-back Maximilian Wöber then shortly after that, confirmed that an agreement has been reached with Barcelona for Munir El Haddadi.

The league leaders want back-up for Luis Suarez after Sevilla agreed a one-million-euro ($1.15-million) deal to buy Spain worldwide Munir on Friday, leaving the Uruguayan as the only No. 9 at the club, playing between Lionel Messi and Ousmane Dembele.

"We want a solution as soon as possible".

The 23-year-old is now set to make the switch to Sevilla, with the Andalusian club - who sit third in LaLiga - confirming on Friday that they had reached an agreement in principle with Barca for a fee of €1,050,000.

"The club would like to thank Munir El Haddadi for his dedication and commitment and wishes him all the best for the future".

However, Munir had not played for the club since a start in the Champions League against Tottenham, with Barcelona having already locked up the top spot in their group.

El Haddadi also turned out for the Spanish national team once, apart from making 16 appearances (and scoring ten goals) for the Spanish U 21 side as well as scoring 2 in three appearances for the U19 side.

Sevilla had met with Morata's representatives over a potential deal but found the proposed loan move too expensive.

However, Morata's final destination has somewhat of a cloudy look to it, but according to Spanish outlet SPORT, Barcelona are the latest club to enquire about the 26-year-old's services.
