Bayern Confirm They Want To Sign Chelsea Attacker

Edwards, who was Chelsea's under-18 coach before stepping up to take charge of their development squad in 2017, has played a key role in the Hudson-Odoi's progress.

Chelsea are thought to be considering reporting Bayern Munich to Federation Internationale de Football Association should they find any wrongdoing in their approach for winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, after the German champions' sporting director sparked ire with his comments about the 18-year-old on Wednesday.

SunSport understands Hudson-Odoi is determined to leave Chelsea, believing he will get better opportunities to develop as a player in Germany.

The exciting teenager is being linked with a £35million move to Bayern Munich after struggling for game time at Stamford Bridge - though he has started the last two cup games, including the Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg defeat at Tottenham.

The Spaniard said of an exciting club colleague: "He is a good player, but he is very young".

MAURIZIO SARRI has praised Callum Hudson-Odoi for ignoring speculation over his future to continue producing the goods for Chelsea.

Salihamidzic told reporters on Bayern's winter training camp in Doha: "He's a very interesting player that we absolutely want to sign". I can advise him, but at the end of the day he decides about his future. "We'll see about the rest".

Callum Hudson-Odoi seems like a wanted man as Serie A side Juventus have joined the race to sign the talented Chelsea attacker.

"So, why wouldn't he think about moving somewhere else if a club like Bayern Munich are in for him?" "I'd like to see him stay and have a real crack".

"We don't need to speak about him too much". "I hope they all stay", he said.

"It created a lot of confusion, I don't know what they have to do, but they have to explain it properly to the linesmen and referee to us, because if the guy stopped then I don't know why play kept going".
