Malcom could be a flawless fit for Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea

"I spoke with the club and the club knows very well my opinion", he said.

The Blues now occupy the fourth spot on the Premier League table and they need to win this match in order to maintain that gap with Arsenal who sit fifth on the table.

Sarri said he had recommended to Chelsea that two players be signed, but declined to say their positions.

Higuain has not enjoyed his time at AC Milan, where he is now on loan from Juventus, and would welcome a move to west London.

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri feels his side need to sign new two players during the January transfer market. "So they didn't respect our club, I think", Sarri told reporters on Friday.

"Of course if he was to go to another club then we need a replacement", he said.

Sarri is demanding a replacement if Cesc Fabregas' move to Monaco materialises and, now, also if Alvaro Morata is allowed to leave this month. "I'm very happy with the player and I'd like to have him in the future".

"At the moment Morata is here, so I think he has to think only to play".

'That is all he needs to do, he has all the conditions to be a great player, now it is up to him to fight for a place here or try to find more minutes somewhere else.

The Blues have shown glimpses of becoming an exciting attacking team, but Sarri is still trying to fit the pieces together following his summer arrival at Stamford Bridge.

'I see in him a really good player who would certainly be a good face to join us'. It was 1993 when they last failed to score in three successive home league games.

The Blues were beaten 1-0 by Tottenham in the first leg of their Carabao Cup semi-final and have been criticised for their struggles in front of goal. We need to improve in attacking the spaces.
