A family in Salinas, California, might be ready to deliver a tongue-lashing to the prowler their security camera caught licking their doorbell ― for three hours.

That's 180 minutes of straight licking.

The couple had been out of town, during the odd incident, but their children were sleep inside the family's home.

They were alerted to the incident when their surveillance system notified them of movement by the front door. The homeowner later found the cord at a neighbor's home.

Police identified the man in the video as Roberto Daniel Arroyo, 33, who is being sought on suspicion of petty theft and prowling, KION reported. "I started reviewing the video and said 'Who the heck is that?"

Roberto Daniel Arroyo, 33, was captured taking part in the freaky act on the Dungan's home CCTV in Salinas, California, on Saturday morning. Arroyo also appeared on camera relieving himself on the property and at one point seems to lie down to sleep.

After the home surveillance footage was checked, police were called out to watch the video, in which a man can be seen clearly licking the doorbell repeatedly.
