Possible Spoiler On Another WWE Hall Of Famer Appearing On Raw

The wrestling legend - whose real name is Terry Bollea - hasn't appeared on the company's cable programs since 2015, when it was revealed he made racist comments on a leaked sex tape.

Following the sad news of "Mean" Gene Okerlund's death this past week, WWE have announced that the legendary announcer's close friend and regular guest on the mic Hulk Hogan will return to Monday Night Raw this week to honour the passing of his friend.

Hogan and Okerlund's careers were intertwined for decades, as the two shared an entertaining chemistry in countless televised interviews throughout the "Hulkamania" era of the 1980s, which propelled the former into an worldwide superstar.

Okerlund rose to prominence interviewing stars including Hogan.

Hogan and Okerlund stayed with WWF until 1993, when Okerlund switched over to the rival World Championship Wrestling (WCW), with Hogan defecting a year later.

But his return to the WWE is not one that is necessarily being welcomed by fans.

Lance Storm was full of praise for Drew McIntyre last night, claiming he loves him, adding that Drew doesn't care about stupid shit and just wants to beat men up and prove he is better.

While Hogan said he resigned from the entertainment company following the revelations, WWE stated he was sacked.

It will be interesting to see how Hogan's return is received, and whether or not the WWE Hall of Famer can save the company from the recent slump in TV ratings.

"There was no better broadcaster/interviewer than Mean Gene". After being tapped using highly inflammatory language, Hogan was essentially excommunicated from WWE.
