Nokia 9 PureView appears in new press render

Nokia 9 PureView appears in new press render

This was the case when Samsung launched its first four-camera smartphone, the Galaxy A9, in October 2018. Although there is no word on the launch timeframe of the smartphone, a recent report by a Russian website Nokia Anew stated the handset to launch in the last week of January.

We don't have a price yet, but personally, we will not be buying the Nokia 9 PureView even if it's 99p.

Blass offers the codename of "Beholder" for this device - firmware dredgers may do best with that information - along with four clearly visible cameras, one that's partially obscured, a flash module and another supposedly hidden one on the rear side. Also, the video shows that the new Nokia phone will sport an edge-to-edge, "PureDisplay" panel.

The new video is a render, leaked by MySmartPrice, shows off the Nokia 9 PureView, revealing once more a back that's packed with camera optics.

The next Nokia from HMD Global that's going to be official is the Nokia 9.

Though we're unsure exactly how a five-camera setup could work on this phone, we at least know how it could (or indeed, might) look.

The phone Nokia fans have been waiting for is nearly here, a new leak told us earlier this week without revealing any details about the upcoming Android One handset aside from its design and penta-lens rear-facing PureView-branded camera.

Another interesting reveal is that it will feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. This means that, besides stock Android 9 Pie straight out of the box, owners should expect updates to Android Q and Android R once they arrive.

For starters, the leaked render confirms in-display fingerprint scanner, full-screen display without a notch, but two thick bezels on the top and bottom. First things first, Nokia 9 PureView will be powered by the previous generation Snapdragon 845 processor and not the latest Snapdragon 855 chipset.
