The Mishawaka High School released a statement calling the death a "terrible tragedy" and said they will have grief counselors available to students at the high school throughout the day. A GoFundMe has been established on behalf of the teen's father and stepmother to help pay for her funeral and memorial expenses.

According to charging documents, Trejo told detectives that Rouhselang had waited too long to tell him about the pregnancy to get an abortion. The 17-year-old junior and cheerleader at the school east of South Bend was six months pregnant, her mother told police, according to an affidavit.

A 16-year-old teen has been arrested in the killing of a 17-year-old pregnant schoolmate whose body was found in an IL restaurant dumpster.

The high school called Rouhselang's death "a bad tragedy" in a statement posted on its website. The documents state the Trejo told police: "I took action". At this time, I would like to ask our citizens to join me in praying for Breana, her family, the Mishawaka High School community and all families that have been impacted.

Breana Rouhselang is an IN teen and high school cheerleader who was founded dead Sunday morning. He was due to be formally charged on Monday, Jessica McBrier, spokeswoman for the St. Joseph County prosecutor's office, said in a phone interview.

Aaron Trejo, 16, is accused of knifing Breana Rouhselang, 17, and dumping her body in a bin after she concealed the fact she was expecting his child, it has been claimed. Aaron Trejo said that he had been planning and thinking about killing Breana and the baby for about a week and had not told anybody.

Rouhselang had reportedly been active in many sports at Mishawaka, where both attended school.

On Sunday, Pasquale Rulli's Pizza wrote on Facebook, 'Our condolences to the families involved in the tragedy that took place by our restaurant overnight. Gabby Trozzy, who had classes with Rouhselang, said she "didn't believe" that her classmate had died at first.

'I don't understand how somebody could do that like, she was just such an wonderful person - her friends, family, she definitely did not deserve this'. "I don't understand how somebody could do that like, she was just such an awesome person".

"We're just focusing on healing the kids", Meg Sauer, chief communications officer for the school district, said in a statement to the Indianapolis Star.

Trejo, who is being held without bail, has been charged with two felonies: murder and feticide. "No one can ever be prepared for a loss like this".
