The OnePlus 6T McLaren edition will be available for $699.

Much of what you get on the McLaren Edition is the same as the standard OnePlus 6T variant. It still retains the Snapdragon 845 and couple this with OnePlus' focus to a clean UI and you have yourself a fluid interface mixed with intuitive gesture options. For photography, the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition features 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual camera setup on the rear and a selfie shooter of 16-megapixel on the front. The phone maker's CEO Pete Lau said in a statement that this handset is the "start of an exciting partnership with McLaren, giving people a feeling of incredible speed and performance".

The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be available starting on 13 December in Europe, North America, and India for $699 Dollars. The limited-edition phone will be also launched in India on December 12 and in China on December 14. Overall there's a lot more going on in the McLaren Edition's design and we suspect the orange color won't suit everyone, but it's sure to appeal to fans of the brand. The McLaren edition isn't your average black smartphone, however. This new variants of the OnePlus 6T, which was launched in India on October 30, comes with 10GB RAM and with a tagline that says Salute To Speed. The device will be coming with 256GB of storage also. It will be interesting to see at what price the special edition launches in India tomorrow.

Ultimately the main differences between the standard OnePlus 6T and the McLaren Edition are that with the latter you get an extra 2GB of RAM and a different design on the back of the phone.

After a bit of speculation and teasing, OnePlus has finally unveiled the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition.

Under the phone's glass back is a pattern reminiscent of the carbon fibre used by McLaren on its road and race cars.

Diving in you have the essentials - that 30W charger, a yellow Warp Charge cable and a carbon fibre case for the phone, as well as picture McLaren carbon fibre embedded in a commemorative plaque. Speaking of logos, McLaren's iconic Speedmark is safely encased in a glass memento and the material used to create it is same as the one used in McLaren MCL33 2018 Formula 1 vehicle. The box package includes a McLaren logo called Speedmark.

Resolution aside it's a screen we were impressed by in our OnePlus 6T review so the same will probably hold true for the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition.

Oh and OnePlus created a book about itself and McLaren, which has some suitably orange pages inside and will be included in the box. This special edition features a black carbon fiber design with McLaren's signature "Papaya Orange" color around the rim, starting fairly solid on the bottom and fading as it moves towards the top of the device.
