Dak Prescott and Cowboys Stars Respond to Eagles Comments on Being 'Chokers'

Grugier-Hill told NBC 10's John Clark on Wednesday that he expects the Cowboys to choke when they host the Eagles in a battle for first place in the NFC East on Sunday. And as the Eagles are deemed to have a much tougher remaining schedule than the Cowboys, America's Team would be that much closer to wearing the NFC East Crown and earning themselves an invitation to the playoffs.

Cooper's role in Dallas's win wasn't limited to the game-winning score.

Since trading for Amari Cooper, the Cowboys are 4-1.

They clearly didn't like being called "chokers" by Grugier-Hill, and Dak Prescott, Antwaun Woods and Jaylon Smith made that very clear in their responses. Leave everything out on the field, do your job one play at a time, All those things that are kind of coach speak. "So we'll go down there and make them choke".

As a result, the third-year linebacker apologized to Doug Pederson after Pederson pulled him aside to remind him never to do that again.

This is definitely the right approach to have when it comes to divisional games, as these comments from Grugier-Hill just come off as petty, especially due to the fact that the Cowboys have already defeated the Eagles this season. "It has nothing to do with that We have a ton of respect for Coach (Jason) Garrett". I talk to the team a lot about how we don't need to post anything that can be used on other teams' website or bulletin board. "Number one, a chance to kind of dig ourselves out of a hole that we've created for ourselves early in the season".
