Mortal Kombat 11: Raiden and Scorpion’s gruesome battle goes viral

The sequel was revealed by OG co-creator Ed Boon at The Game Awards yesterday. NetherRealm Studios is planning to pull back the curtain further in a reveal event on January 17. Firstly, Mortal Kombat 11 will introduce an all new custom character variation system, giving players the ability to customize their fighters and make them their own. Boasting a new graphics engine, Mortal Kombat 11 promises to make every special move and fatality a visceral and thoroughly unpleasant experience for all.

Mortal Kombat XI will launch on April 23, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Accompanying the announcement is a video trailer showing a bloody battle between Raiden and Scorpion and also featuring a brand new 21 Savage song as the soundtrack. The event will also include the first opportunity for hands-on with Mortal Kombat 11 gameplay, tournaments and other Mortal Kombat themed activities.

The spine-ripping, heart-stabbing, tooth-smashing, face-eating supernatural superkillers of Mortal Kombat will return next year in Mortal Kombat 11, announced today.

The promo for Mortal Kombat 11 is out and the gaming world is going insane.

Available for pre-order beginning December 7 is the Mortal Kombat 11 standard edition for $59.99 SRP.* The Mortal Kombat 11 Premium Edition is also available for pre-order at $99.99 which includes the base game and the Kombat Pack. Preorders are open now and necessary if you want access to villain Shao Kahn and the game beta.

After E3 2018 came and went without any word from developer NetherRealm Studios, many thought that any hope for a new Mortal Kombat was premature.
