Spider-Man: Far From Home Marketing Hides Avengers 4 Spoilers

The eight-second video shows Gyllenhaal holding up Amazing Spider-Man #311 (a classic), which featured Mysterio's return to the Wall-Crawler's life. The actor teases fans over realising that he's not playing Spider-Man, while reading a comic with Mysterio on the cover (and another such cover is framed on the wall behind him).

Make way for Jake Gyllenhaal, on Instagram and in Marvel Cinematic Universe.

You may recall that way back when Tobey Maguire was playing Spidey and almost bowed out due to a back injury, Gyllenhaal was rumored to be taking over the webslinger's suit.

Multiple reports have revealed that the first Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer is set to debut at Brazil Comic Con on Saturday, December 8, with online release following shortly after.

It's good fun, and a sign that we can expect the marketing for Spider-Man: Far From Home to start ramping up. That's obviously enough to tell us that Spidey will be resurrected by the end of the new Avengers film. The alter-ego of Quentin Beck, Mysterio a special effects wizard and stunt man who decides to give up on his Hollywood ambitions and put his skills to use as a supervillain.

Anyone who's seen "Avengers: Infinity War" knows (spoiler alert!) that several of Earth's mightiest heroes were turned to dust when Thanos (Josh Brolin) finally completed his gauntlet and snapped his fingers, effectively killing half of the inhabitants of the galaxy, including Spider-Man (Tom Holland).
