Giuliani Misses a Space on Twitter and Things Spiral

Giuliani Misses a Space on Twitter and Things Spiral

There, you can find many, many articles about Mueller's Russian Federation investigation and the Trump-related discoveries thereof.

On 30 November, Giuliani sent a tweet criticising Robert Mueller for issuing an indictment just as Donald Trump was heading to the G20 summit in Buenos Aires.

The G-20.In website set up by Jason Velazquez to take advantage of Rudy Giuliani's typo.

Pay attention to just after the 14-second mark and you can actually hear the petulant toddler say "get me out of here". "Certainly, something that [Giuliani] would not want to be linked from his tweet". When publishing his tweet, Giuliani did not notice that Twitter had turned it blue, indicating it was clickable.

"Click on Rudy's link", wrote actress and activist Alyssa Milano to her 3.47 million Twitter followers.

Automatic hyperlink generation, coupled with the ingenuity of netizens, played a dirty trick on the United States president's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, who went on a rant against Special Counsel Robert Mueller on Twitter.

When Giuliani discovered this, he again used the social network, declaring that "Twitter allowed someone to invade my text with a disgusting anti-president message". With no facts or justification, he blamed Twitter, saying employees there are "cardcarrying anti-Trumpers".

Giuliani was immediately roasted by the internet for what one Twitter user described as "turning a typo into a full on conspiracy theory". Both tweets are (at least at the time of this posting) still up.

Giuliani has actually made this mistake before.

"As fun as this is, this not the most important thing going on right now by far", Velazquez said.

As is wont to happen on the Internet, some internet savvy person saw the creation of this link and a golden opportunity to troll Giuliani and the Trump administration.

"That would mean that I forced him to delete it", he said.
