Kareem Hunt contacted ESPN to request an interview to explain his side of the brutal video that surfaced Friday, which shows him attacking a woman. The video posted by TMZ comes at a sensitive time for the Chiefs and the National Football League when it comes to domestic violence.

"The NFL's investigation, which began immediately following the incident in February, will include a review of the new information that was made public today", the NFL wrote in a statement.
