Hugh Jackman to bring one-man world tour to Pepsi Center in July

Huge jacked man Hugh Jackman has this morning announced an epic world tour of a brand new arena stage show set to showcase the past few decades of his many, many singy-dancey moments.

The tour starts in Europe, officially kicking off in Hamburg, Germany, on May 13. No word if he will also brandish Wolverine claws at any point in the shows, but that seems like a great tour merch item.

Hugh Jackman just announced his first world tour - and one of the stops will be in Denver.

The tour will begin with 12 shows across Europe and the United Kingdom in May and will then continue on to North America for a 22-city run. A superstar of the musical stage, we're expecting a lovely evening of music when Jackman hits these Texas venues. "I'm singing, I'm dancing, I'm telling stories", he said, noting he will be backed by a 26-piece orchestra and 30 singers and dancers.

"Performing live on the plaza" in Rockefeller Center as part of the show's concert series.

While the tour is expected to hit mostly worldwide stops, Variety reports that there will be a few domestic stops as well, including Los Angeles.

Hugh Jackman attends a screening of "Logan" in New York City in February 24, 2017. He previously starred in the jukebox musical The Boy From Oz, based on the life of Australian singer/songwriter Peter Allen.

Tickets for the North American shows go on sale to the general public Friday, Dec. 7, with ticket sales for the Salt Lake show opening at 10 a.m. MST. He's a widely acclaimed musical theater actor, who won a Tony for The Boy from Oz and once won an Emmy for hosting the Tony Awards.
