Ariana Grande's 'thank u, next' music video broke YouTube

TMZ reports that Kris is the not-so-secret Kar-Jenner who will be dancing (!) alongside Ariana in her video, which drops Friday. As has been well documented, the video is a tribute to 2000s rom-coms, and features fun references to Mean Girls, 13 Going On 30, Bring It On, and Legally Blonde.

"Thank U, Next" was first introduced via Twitter.

Grande parodies some classic noughties films in Thank U, Next.

Though the chart-topping single officially dropped earlier this month-shortly after Grande announced her split from her reportedly well-endowed ex-fiancé Pete Davidson-the "No Tears Left to Cry" singer kept fans on edge for weeks, sharing snippets of the final music video and behind-the-scenes clips to build anticipation.

Grande's Victorious co-star Elizabeth Gillies donned a ideal pink shirt to portray Cady Heron (originally played by Lindsay Lohan), and was so convincing, we had to do a double take. This includes Mean Girls' Jonathan Bennett and Legally Blonde's Jennifer Coolidge, who has a small conversation with Grande's rendition of bubbly law student Elle Woods in the middle of the song.

Firstly, Mean Girls gave Grande the greatest honour of all.

"You guys, this is what she makes us watch over and over and over again", Kardashian said while out to dinner with her mom, as first reported by PEOPLE.

But Jennifer Garner wasn't the only star to compliment Ari on her much-hyped music video.

Meanwhile Kris Jenner appeared as "cool mum" Mrs. George (originally played by Amy Poehler). Her ex Mac Miller also sadly passed away at the beginning of September, so this may mean the Ariana was the one who broke it off, as she needed to be by herself for a little.

Grande's Thank U, Next video has gotten almost 31million views within 10 hours of its premiere.

In her Legally Blonde entrance, Grande drives a Porsche with a licence plate that says "7 Rings" - the internet thinks this is a reference to friendship rings she and her six best friends have. In the video, she pastes a photo of her and former fiance Pete Davidson (with parts of his face covered in purple hearts) into the book, and writes "sry I dipped" on the page.
