Green Suspended After Locker Room Confrontation With Durant

The argument reportedly spilled over into the locker room after the Warriors lost to the Los Angeles Clippers, 121-116, in overtime.

Golden State Warriors All-Star forward Draymond Green will not be in the lineup tonight when the Warriors host the Atlanta Hawks, as a result of his argument with Kevin Durant at the end of last night's game. Green made a decision to keep the ball following a critical stop and the score tied in the final seconds of regulation.

Durant and Green, who was making his return from a sprained toe, shared words on the bench after the dramatic finish and while neither player addressed the media after the defeat, Livingston cooled talk of any issue between the pair.

Yahoo Sports first reported Green would miss Tuesday's game.

The Clippers crashed the boards - every player grabbed at least one - and they dominated in the paint, 62-36.

The Warriors were held to 20 points in the third when they were outscored by six. "Our whole goal was to get more shots than them".
