Le'Veon Bell Spotted Playing Basketball at Pittsburgh Gym

Le'Veon Bell has said farewell to Miami and returned to Pittsburgh but he still has not met with the Steelers as the Week 11 deadline rapidly approaches. Meanwhile, his teammates continue to express their frustration with the situation, with one unidentified player saying, "This Le'Veon thing is just a cloud over us at this point".

Bell would surrender the final $6.84 million of his salary if he elects not to sign the franchise tender.

Bell must sign his franchise tender or sign a one-year deal with the team ahead of the November 13 deadline in order to retain his eligibility for this season.

"The new information to Bell's camp has them weighing their options as the deadline approaches", according to The Athletic. There have mixed reports dating back to the preseason on when Bell would report to the team, with an expectation he would return to the team during their Week 7 bye.

The transition tag would allow Bell to negotiate with other teams and allow the Steelers to match any offer.

Just about everybody has an opinion on my life & anxious about what I'm doing. "But most people don't take the time to just simply read between the lines. and that's clearly on them". The 26-year-old is set to become a free agent at season's end unless the Steelers place the franchise tag on him for the third time.

Bell, who's been absent from the Pittsburgh Steelers for the entirety of the campaign amid a contract holdout, has until Tuesday to report to the team facilities or else he'll forfeit the season.

If he plays games this year, the Steelers could try to prove Bell's transition tag should be prorated.

"I'm not apologizing for what I believe is right for myself, family and the rest of my peers, period", Bell wrote.
