Chargers Answer Back With Rivers Passing TD and Gordon Rushing TD

Last Sunday versus the Chargers, things couldn't have been more different as Wilson put together one of his worst games of the season. With the ability to beat defenses over the top with each of these three receivers, all eyes will be on free safety Tedric Thompson, who will be making his fourth start since Earl Thomas was lost for the season.

Richards has had stints on Los Angeles' practice squad the past two seasons.

The Chargers next face the Raiders on Sunday. He threw touchdown passes of 12-yards to Tyrell Williams and 30-yards to Mike Williams.

"We've found ourselves in most of the games we didn't win right there at the end, so close to getting it done", Seattle coach Pete Carroll said.

Hill recorded three total tackles against Los Angeles, including one for a loss.

Minutes later, trailing by a touchdown, Jarran Reed dropped Rivers for a 10-yard loss to force a late punt, and give Seattle a chance to tie in the final two minutes.

The Chargers's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Melvin Gordon, who rushed for 113 yards and 1 touchdown on 16 carries, and Philip Rivers, who passed for 228 yards and 2 touchdowns. "When you look at the past few weeks, you look at how much we improved from where we started, it's obvious". That makes it eight straight good games in a row from Rivers. "We didn't show up and show out at the end of the day and that's what you've got to do in this league". If, the now fully healthy, Frank Clark and company can get pressure on Rivers and keep him from planting his foot in the ground and letting the ball rip then Seattle will be walking away with a win.

"The defense did a ideal job of taking the ball off of them, " Carroll said.

McDougald didn't play in the second half with a knee injury that Carroll said was "pretty sore" on Monday. "We're a young team, we're climbing".
