Destiny 2 Now Free On PC

Destiny 2 Now Free On PC

The fanbase is set to grow as new Guardians will be able to enter the world of Destiny 2 for free in November.

The fantastic news was revealed before the Blizzcon 2018 Opening Ceremony, which will include news on Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone and Diablo. So, considering how this particular distribution method worked out well for Bungie when D2 went free for a month on PS4-the game managed to top digital console sales for September-it wouldn't be too surprising if PC fans wind up dropping some coin on the DLCs in order to keep playing. Naturally, Activision is only offering the base game, meaning that you'll have to buy the DLCs if you are interested in them. Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg announced that Destiny 2 PC will be exclusive.

PC users can download Destiny 2 for free today through November 18 and keep it forever.

Destiny 2 launched on Xbox and PS4 on September 6th of previous year, followed by its PC launch through Battle.net on October 24th.

A free trial of Gambit, Forsaken's excellent new PvEvP game mode, will also run from November 9 to 11 - that'll be for those players who own Destiny 2 (or grab it through this giveaway) but haven't jumped into Forsaken. After less than a year on the market, Destiny 2 is now available for the low, low price of $0. Destiny 2 PC is redeemable from the Battle.net gift page. Additionally, 6GB of RAM, and 68GB of HDD space. Of course, this free offer doesn't include the game's DLC, which is recommended by many players for the best experience.
