Crown Jewel Post-Show; How Does This Affect WrestleMania?

As is well known, the Saudi Arabian government is paying WWE a hefty price to hold these shows such as Crown Jewel overseas.

Lost, for some, amidst all of the talk about whether the WWE's second major event in Saudi Arabia should be happening or not are moments that would otherwise garner a lot of attention in their own right.

Unclear if the plan was to make Hulk a part of "Crown Jewel" all along - or if he was a last-minute Plan B after John Cena and Daniel Bryan refused to participate over the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Billed as the host of Crown Jewel, Hogan began the show by walking to the ring as a huge fireworks extravaganza took place at the stadium in Jeddah.

D-Generation X will face The Brothers of Destruction in a historic Tag team match.

Shane McMahon won the WWE World Cup after introducing himself as a late replacement for the injured Miz.

The World Cup contest, featuring The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Jeff Hardy and five other contenders, ended in freakish fashion when SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon won even though he was not competing.

Hogan praised the fans in Saudi Arabia, and expressed his excitement at being back in WWE.

WWE cameras caught up with Shawn immediately following his match at Crown Jewel and got some comments from him on his return to the ring as well as his thoughts about having more matches now that he has returned.
