West Indies opt to bat in 5th ODI

It was not a single-man effort rather one of a tag-team one as nearly all bowlers had their name on the wicket-list so far.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma led the team to new heights in 2018, as India finished with 14 wins from a total of 20 matches.

Jadeja, who was named man-of-the-match, polished off the West Indies' tail and India did not need the customary break after end of the first innings to get past their target.

India brought back Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah but it wasn't enough as West Indies defeated India by 43 runs despite another Kohli hundred.

Team India skipper Virat Kohli congratulated Indian team and his boys as they won the fifth and final match along with the series win by 3-1. The hard-hitting batsman who can also bowl mean in-swingers have proven to be an impact player for both West Indies and Mumbai Indians for over five years now. The Indian opener scored five centuries and the maximum number of sixes (36) in the year. A four-wicket haul from Ravindra Jadeja broke the camel's back, as Windies got all out on a mere 104.
