Apple Launch Makes OnePlus 6T Event Preponed to October 29th

The company has already confirmed that the OnePlus 6T will be launched on October 30 at a grand event in NY and will be available in stores from November 6.

Yesterday, Apple announced that it will host a new product reveal event on October 30, likely for the iPad we saw no sign of during its iPhone reveal in September. This is the reason company made a decision to shift the launch event to October 29 so that the event could get the desired time as well as attention from the audience.

Now, OnePlus and Apple are obviously very different companies, and their product launches will be different, too: OnePlus is debuting a phone, while Apple will reportedly show off new iPads and Mac computers. The company recognizes that this date change probably isn't ideal for fans who were planning to go to NY and attend in-person, so anyone who has already bought a ticket to the show will be able to apply for a full refund. Those who hold tickets and still want to attend will have the relevant costs covered, according to Lau's post.

The company has already confirmed that the phone will not have a 3.5mm headphone jack so they will be releasing two USB-C audio accessories: the OnePlus USB-C Bullets Earphones and USB-C to 3.5mm Jack Adapter Cable.

The company has shifted the OnePlus 6 New York Launch event only. The device will be launched on 30 October worldwide. If you're curious about more OnePlus 6T features, 9to5Google has a perfectly good rumor roundup. Talking about the India launch event, it will go on as per the earlier announcement.

It has been widely rumored that the OnePlus might increase the price of the OnePlus 6T when compared to the OnePlus 6.

The OnePlus 6T is expected to bring plenty of innovations to this mid-range device including an in-screen fingerprint scanner.

We talked to some of our most loyal users, knowing we could not make a decision of this magnitude without your input.

"We received considered, honest and thoughtful feedback".

OnePlus CEO has confirmed this when he replied to a user on Weibo saying that Android Pie update for these devices is delayed, but will definitely come to the smartphones nevertheless.
