Apple iPhone Xr - South African pricing

Apple says the iPhone XR will be available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB models in white, black, blue, yellow, coral and (PRODUCT) RED starting at £749 from apple.com and Apple Stores. It's available with three different storage capacities: 64, 128 and 256GB.

Apple is likely to sell its new and cheaper iPhone XR faster than the luxury iPhone XS and XS Max, an Apple analyst has claimed.

The iPhone XR will be available for purchase in Israel on November 1, while the following countries will get the phone a day later: Armenia, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Macau, Maldives, Myanmar, Ukraine and Vietnam.

The iPhone XR has the same software and the same powerful chip as the iPhone XS and the iPhone XS Max.

Apple iPhone XR will sell better than the iPhone 8 did a year ago, claims famed analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.

Customers will be able to pre-order iPhone XR beginning tomorrow with it physically arriving in stores from Friday, October 26. These include US, UK, Canada, China, Australia, and more. It's not all bad news though: one camera advantage of the XR over the XS is that you don't need to back up as far when taking Portrait photos since there's only one lens being used, and all depth recognition is being done via software rather than the dual-lens hardware.

The phone's single rear camera can take Portrait mode pictures for human faces, while it lacks Stage Mono and Stage Portrait Lighting effects (the front-facing camera has all five effects).

For selfies, the iPhone XR sports a 7MP selfie camera with a f/2.2 aperture along with a TrueDepth camera for FaceID. The 3.5mm-to-Lightning dongle will not be included in the box this time.
