What happens if you win Mega Millions' $900M jackpot?

Its jackpot has ballooned to $900 million for Friday's drawing - the second largest in USA lottery history and the biggest in the game's history- after yielding no winners since the end of July.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been accumulating since July 24, when it was won by a California office pool of 11 co-workers who shared the $543 million, making it the largest prize ever won on a single ticket in the game. The winning ticket was purchased at Minit Mart on Leestown Road.

Nobody won the big Powerball jackpot Wednesday night.

A $1 million ticket was sold at a Shop-Rite in Morris County that matched five of the five white balls from Wednesday evening's drawings.

On Oct. 17, Ronnie Parker of Dawson Springs cashed a $1 million ticket from Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing.

No one the jackpot in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, but someone in Kentucky did win $1 million.

The next Powerball drawing takes place 11 p.m. EDT Saturday.

Since 2012, 10 of the biggest lottery jackpots in USA history have exceeded $500 million. The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday's drawing stands at $900 million - that's the second largest lottery jackpot in US history.
