But in an Instagram Story she shared on Tuesday, the 25-year-old singer spoke about her recent "anxiety".

They posited that gender conventions, celebrity culture, and power imbalance may have been at play: "Grande and Davidson's relationship captivated onlookers because of its speed, intensity, and incredibly public nature".

Ariana has reportedly returned the engagement ring Peter had given her, which was worth over $100,000 (over P5.3 million).

But after the summer of Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's epic whirlwind romance, it still was a bit jarring to see the headlines on Sunday evening.

Pete Davidson and Ariana Grande called off their engagement, according to reports.

Sources close to Ariana tell us she's already returned the almost $100k engagement ring Davidson gave her back in June.

Grande and Miller dated for some two years before splitting up in May, just weeks before she and Davidson announced their engagement.

"They put on this front of being so happy, but there were lots of fights and struggles behind the scenes", a source close to the singer tells the magazine. Grande bantered back and forth with fans on Twitter, while Davidson was unusually candid as he grappled with his journey from SNL cast member to media obsession.
