"Illegal guns is the problem, not legal guns", West said.

"They tried to scare me, my friends, to not wear this hat, but this hat, it gives me power in a way", West said of the red MAGA hat he wore to the meeting.

"I would suggest that the president maybe curtail these kinds of engagements", she said on CNN Thursday. You made a Superman. The two will meet at the White House later today for the signing of the Music Modernization Act-legislation which turns over more royalty revenues to musicians and artists.

"That was quite something", Trump added.

President Trump suggested Thursday that Kanye West - who on Thursday delivered a weird, F-bomb-filled rant in the Oval Office - could one day fill his shoes as commander-in-chief.

West's mental health has been a question of speculation since he was hospitalized in 2016.

West dropped the F-bomb during a head-scratching ramble: The 41-year-old launched into a long-winded soliloquy in which he claimed he had been misdiagnosed with bipolar disorder (explaining his issues actually stem from sleep deprivation) and deemed his belief system something akin to "fine wine".

But in his Fox interview, Mr Trump said that West's support had transformed African American views of his presidency.

Mr. West said that he didn't have "a lot of male energy" in his home due to his parents' separation and noted that he is married into a family of strong women-including his wife, Kim Kardashian.

Violence in Chicago is personal to West, who was raised in the Windy City, named his youngest child "Chicago", and recently told a crowd that he is moving back, according to a video obtained by TMZ.

Another panel member, Tara Setmayer, called West the "token Negro of the Trump administration". He also criticized the 13th Amendment, which abolished slavery, calling it a "trap door".

West also used the opportunity to applaud Mr Trump's efforts with North Korea and said he liked the country.

Rapper Kanye West had a few things to say when he stopped by the White House for a visit with President Donald Trump Thursday.

The rapper went on to chastise the NBC sketch show and other liberal-leaning media members for their portrayal of the American president. It's a hydrogen-powered airplane, and this is what our president should be flying in.
