Why won't the Duchess of Cornwall be at Princess Eugenie's wedding?

Though she'll likely follow in the footsteps of Kate and Meghan and choose a pale pink Essie nail polish shade when she weds fiancé Jack Brooksbank on Friday, October 12.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are somewhat experts at being Bridesmaid and Page Boy after their starring roles at Aunt Pippa and Uncle Harry's weddings, among others. That is, unless you're Princess Eugenie.

The only non-royal bridesmaid will be Theodora Williams - the six-year-old daughter of Robbie Williams and Ayda Field.

Mia will join the older Cambridge kids (Prince Louis is probably going to sit this one out as well) along with cousins Savannah and Isla Philips, 6, daughters of Zara's brother Peter Philips and wife Autumn.

The children of the Early and Countess of Wessex, 14-year-old Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, and 10-year-old Viscount Severn, will take on the role of special attendants.

With Princess Eugenie's wedding just around the corner and more details emerging about the event, it's been revealed that Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall (71), won't be in attendance because of a prior engagement, reports Harper's Bazaar.

Who is in Eugenie and Jack's bridal party?

. Mr Brooksbank is now manager of Mahiki, a nightclub in Mayfair but before that, he worked at Chelsea's Admiral Codrington pub, then the Markham Inn.

But it seems even the royals from Buckingham Palace have their fair share of drama - even where family weddings are concerned.

Once the service has ended, the newly married couple will undertake a short carriage procession through part of Windsor High Street.
