Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL launch

However, Google made its Pixel 2 series available to pre-order in India on October 26 a year ago having announced the two devices earlier that month on October 4. Hence we expect the company to launch the Pixel 3 series smartphones and tablets today but add a few more surprises as well.

The timeline for the India launch a couple of weeks after the global announcement seems to be in line with what Google did a year ago with Pixel 2-series phones.

But now it appears the pricing of the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL may have just leaked an fans may not be happy.

Google's upcoming Pixel 3 smartphone has leaked six ways from Sunday so it's only fair that another new offering get some attention. The Google Pixel 3 will have a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 2160 pixels, while the Pixel 3 XL will feature a larger 6.3-inch notched display with 1440 x 2880 pixels. The battery capacity is said to be 2,915 mAh, up from 2,700 mAh of Pixel 2.

Alleged photos of both units have appeared online and displayed a Pixel 3 with much smaller bezels than the current Pixel 2.

The Pixel Slate will be presented together with the Pixel 3 smartphones on the evening of October 9th.

As per the carrier listing the Pixel 3 XL and the Pixel 3 will be released with Android 9 and other specks like the 4GB RAM, Snapdragon 845 processor, and IP68 water proofing as it reveals. The Hong Kong-based writer reports that a local mobile phone shop is selling the still unannounced Pixel 3 XL. Naturally, the device will run Android 9 Pie and feature the same fingerprint sensor on the back. We'll likely see the Pixel Slate announced later this month as part of Google's annual October event. We'll only know tomorrow.

The new Pixel phones are getting a single lens camera as Google is very confident with their ability to produce incredible results without using the dual lens setup in their phones. It's the last device I turn off before I go to sleep and the first one I turn on when I wake up. The Pixel Slate will also have a detachable keyboard accessory, transforming the tablet into a capable work machine.
