Assassin's Creed Odyssey post-launch plans detailed, Assassin's Creed III Remastered confirmed

Ubisoft has announced the post-launch additional content plan for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, including Season Pass and free narrative content released on a regular basis.

The Japanese arm of Nintendo has confirmed that a cloud version of Assassin's Creed Odyssey will be coming to the Switch.

The episodes of both the first and second story expansions will release "approximately six weeks apart".

Legacy of the First Blade will introduce players to the first assassin to wield the hidden blade (hint: It was a caveman - just kidding).

Story Arc II is titled "The Fate of Atlantis" and takes you to the fabled sunken city where you'll uncover its secrets and face godly creatures in a "surprising saga full with twists and turns" that takes you closer to Greek mythology and the First Civilisation.

Season Pass holders will have access to an array of goodies including two free Assassin's Creed games, and two significant storylines with three episodes each.

On top of that, Ubisoft has a lot of free stuff lined up that you won't need the season pass for.

Remakes never seem to be as good as the originals, so if the civil war now brewing in the U.S. isn't doing much for you then you'll be able to relive the American Revolution in Assassin's Creed III Remastered, which is being included in the season pass Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey will have something for everyone as Ubisoft brings more content to the table. All its DLC packs as well as the Assassin's Creed III: Liberation spin-off title is included.

Weekly and daily "contracts" will be handed out, and players will have to track down an epic mercenary or ship to defeat.

Discovery Tour: This educational tool will let players explore the game world in a conflict-free environment and learn more about Ancient Greece's monuments, culture, and history.

Many more updates, including new monstrous and mythical creatures to defy and a New Game Plus mode presenting new challenges and the ability to see how different choices affect players' stories.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey will release worldwide on October 5, 2018, on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Finally, we talk about The Division 2, which is another game that we got super early access to.
