Rodgers misses practice Wednesday, Zimmer expects to see him Sunday

Well, cornerback Kevin King summed up the energy at Lambeau Field in an NSFW tweet that's simply ideal. Whether it's more significant is uncertain.

Rodgers suffered a knee injury in week one and although he came back in the second half and led the Packers to a victory against the Chicago Bears he is still questionable for this game.

This is just the beginning for this team. "Yeah. He walks on water so I'm sure he's going to play", Zimmer said Wednesday.

McCarthy said Wednesday that Rodgers would be day-to-day, but insisted the quarterback working with rehabbing players was "not a setback".

"Obviously there's the hope of playing", McCarthy said, via the team's website. "He'll be given the whole week to get ready".

"He's always responded, puts a lot of extra time in", McCarthy told reporters.

Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer isn't buying it.

"Whatever coach feels like is best for me as far as playing time-wise, if it's one quarter or an entire game, whatever that may be, I'm just with it".

Cousins watched Sunday's rally from a 20-0 deficit with admiration, he said, even if he did predict the ending.

Too amusing. There's also what Kirk Cousins said that made Rodgers sound like a god. "You're really not surprised because you know what he is capable of".
