Mallory's Forecast - Cloudy with light rain today

Earlier on Saturday, Environment Canada was reporting the possibility of up to 60 mm of rain in some parts of Southern Ontario, but as of 3:11 p.m., downgraded those estimates to up to 30 mm of rain. "On Sunday, it's what we call stratiform rain". Expect heavy rain and storms to ramp up with some stronger storms on the table Sunday afternoon, especially in eastern Kentucky.

NWS has issued a Flash Flood Watch for all of central IN this weekend and says some flooding is expected along rivers, streams and creeks.

A Flood Watch continues for McKean and Potter counties in northern PA from 8pm Saturday evening through Monday evening. Some areas could receive up to four inches of rain.

The National Weather Service is predicting rain Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. "The phrase we use is, 'turn around, don't drown.' It's not flash flooding with rapid rises or anything, but you'll see some issues with rivers and creeks overflowing their banks". The overnight low is expected to cool to around 59 degrees, with winds of up to 16 miles per hour.

The biggest rainfall totals will likely be south of Buffalo with 2 to 4 inches possible in places like Bradford, Olean, and Wellsville. The additional clouds and rain will keep highs likely just shy of 90, but that is where we should be for this time of year.

He said Monday will start out similar to Sunday.
