Nokia 9 hands-on image leaks, reveals five rear cameras at the back

On another note, the back of the phone seems to be absent of a fingerprint reader, leading us to believe that the security feature could have a position somewhere on the front of the phone. The recent FCC filings have confirmed that Hemingdi Technologies is a manufacturer of some of the Nokia smartphones.

We already know, Nokia's high image quality during the Java phone days.

While these leaked pictures are certainly interesting it's hard to speculate on what exactly you would use 5 lenses for. Needless to say that a penta-lens camera smartphone seems just as unbelievable. One thing which we're quite certain of is the best-in-class camera performance which HMD Global previously promised in their next flagship device.

Photos posted to Baidu's online discussion forum show what looks like five cameras on the back of a new Nokia device, together with a flash. The model number is listed as TA-1094 and this variant appears to be a dual-SIM phone. Later during the windows phone, Nokia did pretty well with the cameras. Although the legitimacy of the image is still in the air, it falls in line with the previous rumours of the smartphone sporting five-camera setup. It was also then reported to launch at IFA as well, but that didn't happen either. Nokia 9 has a 6.01-inch display which will be protected from Gorilla Glass 5.

In terms of performance, it is tipped to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. Some reports suggest Nokia 9 while the other goes with Nokia 10. Yes, Huawei P20 Pro with triple camera module did get itself top ranked camera phone on DxOMark rating. Since HMD Global Oy hasn't announced the launch date of the device, it is likely to release more teasers about its key features.
