Rob Gronkowski finally has deal reworked

The Jaguars took Ramsey with the No. 5 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski signed a deal which could earn him an additional $4.3 million in 2018, according to his agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Earlier this month, Allen acknowledged to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe that he's been a big letdown for the Pats.

Ramsey did have some positive comments on Steelers receiver Antonio Brown, calling him, "Easily the best receiver in the National Football League". "I could literally be his quarterback".

The contract with Gronk officially ends an offseason of drama for the tight end.

"Any time Gronk has been matched up with a corner, he's had a very bad game - and that corner has had a very good game", Ramsey said.

"He just got a brand-new contract and he is awful", Ramsey said of Amendola.

Amendola was able to bring down seven receptions for 84 yards and two critical touchdowns in the Patriots 24-20 victory over the Jaguars. People think he's so great.

And given their current depth issues at wide receiver (and with Julian Edelman out for the first four weeks), keeping Gronkowski happy before the start of the regular was undoubtedly in the team's best interest considering his expanding role. While speaking with Mina Kimes for an ESPN the Magazine feature, Ramsey revealed that he was led to believe the Dallas Cowboys were going to take him at No. 4.
