Chunky 'sitting' cat looking for forever home goes viral

A fat cat in the Chicago suburbs is getting a lot of attention after a shelter posted an adoption ad describing the unique feline.

"This usually happens when I want food", the shelter wrote.

'I only drink the water that was put in a completely different room, ' says Bruno.

How Bruno learned the impressive skill is a mystery.

"Fame has gone to his head", the shelter said in a Facebook post yesterday. The Wright Way Rescue posted about Bruno on Wednesday saying he was "too cool to be homeless".

He's now on a diet and is perfectly healthy apart from the extra weight he's carrying.

Bruno says: 'I know my tummy is so tempting to touch, but I would prefer if you didn't.

'The foster home understood the importance of Bruno loosing weight if he was going to live to be an old man, ' Ellison said.

This might be the world's most extra cat.

We all know someone who's picky, or fussy, or just likes things that're that little bit extra, well how about the cat who would need more care and attention than your average toddler? I may swat my hand and pretend to bite if you do'.

The shelter has been inundated with adoption requests, which has really boosted Bruno's already high self-esteem.

'He has been VERY excited with all of the interest, so he's taking the time to review all of his adoption applications to see which home he'd like best.

This rotund kitty has found himself down on his luck but, thanks to his full figure, he's sure to have a new forever home in no time!

The shelter says that, aside from the quirks, Bruno is "a pretty laidback, lazy cat" who just wants to be around his owners.
