Paris Jackson has surgery to remove 'golf ball-sized' abscess

Apparently, the talented progeny of Michael Jackson must have felt plenty of pain on stage, and yet she continued with her performance at the Canyon Sessions cancer fundraiser in Los Angeles Saturday, which was in honor of her grandmother, Katherine Jackson.

The 20-year-old, who is the only daughter of late music icon Michael Jackson, revealed to fans in a video posted to her Instagram Stories on Saturday that she had undergone the procedure to remove an abscess "that was nearly the size of a golf ball".

In a separate post shared on her own Instagram account, Jackson explained just how important it was that Katherine Jackson, the 88-year-old Jackson family matriarch, was there to watch. Her doctors couldn't let the pus-filled affliction remain, as if an abscess pops, "you can go septic and die".

Paris Jackson performed at an LA charity concert over the weekend and had one very special fan in the audience cheering her on. The 20-year-old fashion model said on her Instagram Saturday, "I had surgery yesterday". Jackson was ecstatic to help raise money in the fight against the disease, but she was also pleased to play in front of her grandmother, Katherine Jackson.

According to the daughter of the late King Of Pop, Michael Jackson, she had "an abscess that was nearly the size of a golf ball". "And she actually liked it!?! i was sh-- my trousers. i love you so much grandma".

Paris said that it was easily "the most pain" she has ever endured in the entirety of her life. She explained that she was suffering from "an abscess that was nearly the size of a golf ball".

Jackson also revealed she is on a lot of medication to treat pain stemming from the operation. "I love you so much grandma". "I was s-ing my trousers", she wrote in another post on her personal Instagram.

The medical professionals explained to her that she could've gone under anesthesia for the operation, but ultimately, she chose to do it while she was awake - a fearless choice. "I shouldn't have even left bed today".
