Donald Trump: White House Staff Hated 'Wacky Omarosa'

And while Manigault Newman's own 180 on Trump - she assured us nine months ago that he wasn't a racist and now says in her book that he's an irredeemable one - Trump seems bent on giving her a run for her money on revisionist history.

The White House has pushed back, saying the recordings raise questions about her integrity.

According to the former White House aide, the first lady was trying to send a message to her husband when she wore the controversial 'I REALLY DON'T CARE, DO U?' jacket in June.

Manigault-Newman said on "Meet the Press" Sunday she does not regret secretly recording conversation in the White House.

Hitting out at the former aide after the release of the recording, Mr Trump tweeted: "Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time".

In her MSNBC interview, Omarosa said she has been expecting retaliation from the White House for writing about her experience working on the inside. She also released an audio recording of the conversation she had with John Kelly when he fired her.

Here's a montage of her whining about how America is doomed at the hands of Trump mashed up with footage of her gleefully declaring a year earlier that everyone who criticized Trump was going to have to eat crow.

"General Kelly came to me and said that you guys wanted me to leave", she replies.

"No ... I, I, nobody even told me about it", the president responds. I didn't know that. "Damn it, I don't love you leaving at all". "Meet the Press" host Chuck Todd asked.

Her dismissal was announced on 13 December amid USA media reports that she had been fired by Mr Kelly and "escorted out" of the West Wing.

Then Director of Communications for the White House Public Liaison Office Omarosa Manigault Newman listens during the daily press briefing at the White House, Oct. 27, 2017, in Washington, DC.

In the recording with Kelly, which Manigault Newman quotes extensively in her new book, "Unhinged", Kelly can be heard saying that he wants to talk with her about leaving the White House.

"They continue to deceive this nation by how mentally declined he is", she said, referring to Trump, "how hard it is for him to process complex information. What happened?" Trump is heard saying in the clip. "This is non-negotiable discussion". "He probably instructed General Kelly to do it so that he could keep his hands clean when he spoke to me". She also said there are three sources in her book that corroborate her accusation. She never made it, never will.

The White House has condemned the former "Apprentice" star previously, and the Republican National Committee blasted her on Twitter over the weekend.

Separately, Kelly Anne Conway, a senior adviser to President Donald Trump, could not name a single senior official working today in the West Wing who is African-American. "What kind of ingratitude is this?"

"She's certainly violating national security regulations, which I think have the force of law", Giuliani said. Kellyanne Conway said on ABC's This Week that "the first time I ever heard Omarosa suggest those bad things about this president are in this book".
