A winning start for Manchester United but there's trouble in store

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has spoken of his pride in wearing the captain's armband during his side's 2-1 Premier League victory over Leicester City, and has claimed he's eager to skipper the side on a permanent basis.

However, Pogba - who cost United a then-world record £89 million (105 million euros, $116 million, Sh11.6 billion) in 2016 to prise him away from Juventus - is known to be upset by Mourinho's remarks about his performances at the World Cup compared to those for his club last season.

The duo were often at loggerheads last season, with the World Cup victor finding himself benched or occasionally dropped altogether.

Danny Murphy has urged Jose Mourinho to give Victor Lindelof a sustained run in the Manchester United team.

Speaking to journalists after his Man of the Match display on Friday, Pogba said the following when asked about captaining United and being committed to the cause. "That's all I'll say".

"There are things, and there are things that I can not say, otherwise I will get fined", Pogba said. That's all I say.

Obviously, we start with Paul Pogba, who made a very cryptic Instagram posting just after leaving the stadium.

Pogba was pushed on his response and said that "if you're not happy, you can not give your best" when asked about what represents happiness and comfort for him.

"I still enjoying playing football but like I said, when you are comfortable or confident and are good in the head, it's going to be easier".

"Every time you see him now he's frowning, he's angry, he wants to row with everyone", the Newcastle legend said on the BBC show.

Mourinho even warned, as the window drew to a close, the club was is in for a hard season if no more deals came over the line. I have always been talking to my team-mates. "I still enjoy playing football, I still love football and I still give my best with the team, for the team".

"I wonder if Jose's words the other day, "Let's wait until the end of November", I would be very surprised if United weren't top of the league come the end of November".
